Jonathan began his lighting career in his hometown of Glasgow, Scotland, designing lighting for theaters and live event spaces. Over the next 20 years, he built a career in the entertainment industry, working across venues of all sizes from intimate performance spaces to large-scale stadiums and developing a deep understanding of how light shapes atmosphere, emotion, and experience.

Driven by a belief in lighting’s power to transform how people feel in a space, Jonathan brought that expertise into the world of landscape lighting. Today, his mission is simple: to help homeowners experience the same sense of beauty, comfort, and impact outdoors that great lighting creates indoors and on stage.

Jonathan lives in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania with his wife, Patty, and their two children, James and Nora.
